Beautiful conditions. Used wet suit to practice for St Anthony's. Very comfortable with the large number of participants. Didn't panic.

Poor traffic control on bike. A friend of mine went down due to a car turning on to course. On my way back to there was a car in the same lane as the bikes.

Yeah, the socks probably cost me about 2 seconds! That might have put me one place up in the standings but not even close to the podium. It is amazing how we worry about the little things in those races. Someone needs to invent a sock that can be worn throughout the race.

LOL! Yeah, I am actually debating whether to run w/o socks. Can you bike w/o socks? I don't know...I don't think I could do it- I'm so used to socks. I did get some Yankz though, that should help. Great race, and it was good to get a race in before St. A so you work all the kinks out...See ya in 13 days!

Biking without socks is no problem for me. Every time I try running though I get blisters. It isn't worth the extra 5-10 seconds to not put them on after the bike.
