Event comments:

If I had this same time last year I would have placed 2nd in my AG by 8 minutes.... definatly a higher level of compitition this year. Bummed I didn't place, my times were good though so I'm ok with it. Great atmosphere, would definatly do the race again!

Excellent job! There was a tough field there, a lot of the fast folks came out, maybe because Simon Lessig (Pro) was there. And BTW, he got 2nd overall. One of the elite guys beat him by 13 seconds.
Don't sweat the swim time, that includes the 250 yard run to trans where the timing mat was. Congrats on a all-around fantastic race!

I timed my swim, and it took me about 2 minutes to go from the pool to the transition area, so I'm guessing your swim time was much better than you think.

Good race.  I agree way too many turns on the bike route.  Triathons should not be so technical.  Leave the turns/corner to Crit races.

Solid performance overall!!!!

Great race!  And ditto what Dan said - congrats on the #1 bike split.  Nice run too for someone who didn't get moving till they were half way thru!
