Well, I just got my 1 hour arm workout wrestling with the Bear (aka snowblowing the driveway), now it's off to the club with Mama for the aerobic stuff. Ain't it fun livin' in snow country! Have a great day all. And Happy Birthday Kevin!

Long run for the week. Got up early and did 8 miles. Legs were okay during the run but sure felt used up when it was over.

Overslept yesterday for the first time in years so missed workout. Man I get grumpy when I miss one. I any event, ran 3 miles in 30 deg. F. w/ light snowfall. tried to keep heart rate below 144. That's much easier to do on a bike than running. Weights after work.

Make it a good day!

p.s. Anyone ever raced Falls Creek Falls, TN.?

2400 Yard Swim. It was supposed to be 2000 but I must have gotten delirious at the end and couldn't total up the intervals correctly. Probably regret that tonight on my mountain bike ride.

Top 'O the mornin' to ya! Happy B-Day Kevin. Have a great One! Well I was a lazy bum this morning and got up but couldn't stay awake so I slept in. So after work it's a grueling THREE HOUR session to punish myself for my laziness. (Yes, I used to be Catholic! )Will do it all 1 mile swim, 6 mile bike and 3 mile run. Have a good day all!And Kevin....We drink to your coffin. May it be built from the wood of a hundred year old oak tree that I shall plant tomorrow

I shoveled the path and drive this morning – yep – I said Shovelled – no snowblower here!!

Tonight I’m off for a 600yard swim and a session on the treadmill!

Happy Birthday to Kevin! Happy St. Patty's to everyone else!

Today is a rest day ( oh darn ), but I need it. Swam a new long distance last night. ~ 1 KM non-stop free!
So I think I've earned a little celebration tonight.

Happy Birthday Kevin & Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Well the snow forecast turned out to be incorrect (how odd is that?). Got only 3 inches of the white fluffy stuff. At least it will melt -- Spring will soon be upon us. Anyway, school was delayed 1:30 so I just got back from the gym.

Biked 10 miles & Ran 5K -- my first brick. And I still can walk--but we'll see about later. Right now I am drinking my Endurox smoothie (yummmm!!!!)

Have a good day everyone.
Evelyn

Ditto on all the well wishes....

About 4" of snow here in Jersey. And just when I started to get in some nice outdoor rides. Now we have to wait again till all the grit and sand and salt is washed off the roads.

swim for 1 hour (1500 continuous)
bike trainer for 1.5 hours in a hot, hot attic (we are experiencing a heat wave... sorry snowbound friends!)

elliptical machine for 1 hour- 4.92 miles. Tried treadmill but my joints were aching still. Got to step up this weight loss thing so it takes less time for me to recover.

Swam for 45 minutes- 2000 yards.

Thanks everyone!

We got 11.6 inches of snow last night. But I don't have to worry about shoveling. Snow removal is covered in our condo association fee.

FAILE PADRIG mates! Happy bday Kevin - Cyle - I know about finally getting the bike - hope you get a clear place to ride up there in Toronto. (One of my fav. haunts - dad lived there for 20 years and I visited often.

For me a mini brick - in the gym 20 min spin and 20 min run - trying to build endurance, but doing some speed intervals.

Happy Birthday! I am going out in the snow for a long run today. The snow is falling, but the ground is not covered.

Enjoy the birthday workout.
