big swim day

Today, I swam more than I have ever swum in a single trial. I did 850 meters, though it took me about 30 minutes. I think I was averaging about 1:00 per 25 meters---not THAT bad, but slow enough for me. I learned something about my freestyle too: If I swim a little faster, my strokes are smoother as well as my breathing. My last few 50s doing freestyle were the easiest of all because I decided to swim about twice as fast as I had ben swiming. Interesting, isn't it??
Also, yesterday I broke my personal record in running: 4.25 miles!!!!! (and maybe another tenth--I sort of started daydreaming at some point in the run)

HOORAY

Oh yeah, AND I lost two pounds. Woah!!! and I'm not on South Beach anymore. Happiness! Rapture! It's been a good day...
