Hello,

Anyone know how close the Copper Creek Tri is to being closed? I hear it will close up. I may need to make a last minute decision on whether I'm going.

Also...how big will this event be? I know the purse prize is great however I won't be in the hunt for that!

I really want to go, but it is not aligning with my family schedule. Just wondering what I'll be missing out on if I don't make it there!

Thanks...

Although it was rained out last year, it definitely appeared organized and done right! Plenty of people there as well. Probably at least 400+ participants. I'd register immediately if you think you're going to do it because the minute you put it off for 10 minutes, it'll close.

Plus, you get a schwag bag that certainly makes up for a lot of the price of admission if you want to look at it that way too.

Give it a shot!

Is Copper Creek going to have a practice day for swim or anything else?

Does anyone know the temperature of the lake at Copper Creek? I don't have a wetsuit and am wondering if I should be looking for one! Any advice would be great...

You should be fine. It's not too long of a swim. Should be low seveties, but this weeks weather could affect that too.
