Favorite Destination Tri's

I have only done longer races as destination tris. The cost of flying with a bike is prohibitive. Some airlines charge $175 each way.

When and any ideas where you'd like to go? Maybe post on that state's forum for ideas of great races to do.

Might be cheaper to rent a bike from a tri store for the weekend, which might not be so bad for a sprint distance.  Has anyone ever done that?  I'm wondering about the logistics and the chance of getting a decent fit. 

I won't be doing any destination tris this year, but curious for next year.
