"That guy is in his 80s'"!.
When you coming out of the lake, thinking you look smoking hot in your bikini... and some 20 year old kid asks, "Is that your kid over there?"... pointing to the 11 year old boy out in the lake on a floating trampolin.

"I'm with you"!
We were at the store (my daughter was 1 at the time). The cashier asked "Is that your Grand Daughter"? "I was 32 at the time"!!!Yell

"By the way"! "Be proud of those pics"! "You've done a great job sculpting your body to look the way it does"!  "Awesome job"!
OMG! You were 32 and they asked if it was your Grand daughter? WOW!

"Yeah"! I was shocked!
I wanted to say , "Thanks for the slam and have a nice day"!

When your oldest is in the Army and your youngest is going to graduate from HS next year...

When you tell your kid, "You sound like a broken record" and he looks at you blankly because he's never heard a record.

When your kid hears you say something about running home from school to watch a show and asks why you didn't just tape it.

When you realize you've been teaching kids how NOT to kill you in helicopters for longer than the current group of student pilots have been alive.

when you call it "taping a show"

Getting "lost in translation" due to trying to decipher "Tex speak".  OLE!

So, ummm...what IS the tensile strength of those straps? And shouldn't this be posted in the Girls of BT thread?

See, in the town I work in the kid would have to be 2-3 to be your grandchild.  With the normal age of pregnancy being 14-15, the math is about right.

Of course, we live in a town where we cannot push birth control, but we have a kickin pregnant minor program.

When there are enough old injures that you only have one comfortable sleeping position. I think I'll just quit when I get another injury that takes away my last comfy position.

Heck, "I ran out of comfortable positions some time ago"! Now it seems just recently I'm having trouble not waking up 3 or 4 times a night. (remember sleeping all night long and waking up with a spot of drool on the pillow. "That's when you knew you got a good nights sleep)

Some days, I come home from work and while making dinner I watch the local news, the national news, and then look forward to Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

And it dawned from me that this is exacly what my my parents did when I was little.

I don't care how old I get. "The one thing you'll never see me do, is wear sandals with black socks to my knees"!!!

People start dying.

The threshold has been crossed when I look at the 25 yr old and think, "he's just a kid"...and I'm in early 30s.

Graying men are distinguished, right? I can't wait to have some real grays---it's a badge of honor!

When looking at legs like Adabugs's doesn't do anything for me......Nope, Not old yet.

You remember using IBM punch cards!
Your first car did not have headrests
When you remember a time before microwaves.

I am 48, 20 years ago I moved to Boston and noticed a chapter of my college Fraternity accross the street having a party. I went over to meet them. Bear in mind I am 28 at the time. While talking to the brothers, this girl asks me "how old are you?" I say "28." She says "Sh*t you're old!" I say "how old are you?" She says "17." I reply "Sh*t, you weren't even alive when the BEatles broke up." BTW that girl is 37 now, wherever she is, and still was never alive before the Beatles broke up!

I still have my albums. I remember B& W TV with VHF and UHF and no remotes. No ipods. Heck no walkmans or laptops. I am a nerd and I used computers before most people evn knew they existed. I also have very little hair left ont he top of my head.

P.S. You know you are old when you raced bicycles when no one made them from carbon fiber.

Do you remember when a 3 speed with a banana seat and a sissy bar was the bike to have? Or at least it was the one I always wanted.

When you take a class and you are older then the teacher

When the other students ask you questions because they think you work at the school

When students think you are a plant from the school to "catch" them doing wrong

And the funny part? I'm only 31. I started school at 28 and finished at 30. The last class I took the teacher was 29 and I really did have people think I was a plant to nark on them. Granted I'm bald and was very fat at the time so I did look older then I am.
