for those that do flying mounts, what type of tri-shoe do you own and have you found a difference between tri shoes that would make a flying mount easier?

Specialized Trivents.  I think basically any tri shoe with a single velcro strap helps.  However, I certainly wouldn't choose my shoe based on which one makes it easiest to do a flying mount.

nor would I, just curious is all.

my strap broke on my shoe, still usable, but a bit of a pain....and may need to get a new pair.

thats a feature of a shoe you wont be able to get a good feel for through tyring them on, etc...wanted to get some feedback.

I don't do the typical "flying mount", but I do keep my shoes clipped and mount from a rolling start.
I had Lake CX110, and now Louis Garneau Tri Air 2. I like the LG better.

excellent to hear....I currently have Lake, and they flatten like a pancake when I pedal on top of them and are fairly stiff....

x2. I have the new LG Carbon Air's and love them. I find them very easy to slip into after pedaling away from T1 on top of them. I don't do a flying mount either, I'm not an ITU guy.
