Subject: What is your opinion on Triscuits?

I am trying to clean up my eating (although I would say I'm a pretty healthy eater)....no chips, cookies, ice creams etc.

However, I can't make up my mind about Triscuits. I have my doubts because they are a cracker and I associate crackers w/ junk foods, but upon looking at the label, it didn't look so bad??

Reduced Fat Triscuits
1 serving (7 crackers)

Cals: 120
Poly fats: 1.5g
sodium: 160
Potassium:130
Carbs 21 g
Fiber 3g

I eat 1 serving a day with a Laughing Cow wedge.

I like 'em.  I buy the reduced fat version.  I don't eat them everyday...but I'll snack on them a few times a week.  I could think of worse things to snack on. Tongue out

Considering they are a cracker and an easy snack I think they are pretty good.  I love the rosemary/olive oil flavor

Well the answer is pretty obvious to me...

They start with the word Tri, and end with scuit, which I believe is Kazakstan for "slippery fast like fish" or something like that.

Try them with hummus, or break them up in Raisin Bran!

I'm a big fan of triscuits.  Don't eat them every day, but they are a good snack with string cheese.  Or any kind of cheese, really.

Love triscuits.  I put some cheese and salsa on top and nuke long enough to melt the cheese.  Yum.  My nephews call them "hot mamas".  Like others, don't have them every day but the occasional plate of "hot mamas" hits the spot.

x2 - and the black pepper and olive oil - yummy.  Only 6 to a serving though.  I use them in place of chips with a sandwich...

Triscuits are junk.  If you have soybean oil in anything and it does not say organic, it is probably genetically engineered.  95% of soybean grown in the US is GMO.  However, if the label states organic it CAN NOT by law be GMO.

I found 1 or 2 crackers at Costco that actually don't have junk in it.  You just got to keep searching until you find a cracker that you like that is healthy.

FYI:  Anything Genetically Modified is not good, period, no way no how.

I would be interested in seeing some reputable scientific studies to back that claim.  I hear that from people, but have yet to see any valid research to that end.  Same with claim that only "organic" food is good for you and that non-organic foods are bad.
