Subject: What happened to my legs? Has this happened to you? So I was doing some brick training over the weekend. Road the bike 20 miles and then ran 6. As soon as I got home and my legs stopped moving I had massive pain for about 20 seconds. It wasn't cramping. The best way to explain it was that it felt like someone was "wringing" out my legs, like you would ring out a wash cloth. I know the problem was calorie intake during the workout, I just don't know what was happening. I only had one gu during the 2.5 hour training session. I now know that is not enough. I was talking to some other seasoned tri guys about calorie intake and misunderstood what they said. I have since fixed my calorie intake and have not had any other problems. I just was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone knew what it was. |
