Hey, this has possibly already been done on the forum and I missed it... but just in case.

For those of you who enjoy reading or are looking for some motivation, Born to Run by Christopher McDougall is GREAT!

It is a very well written, captivating story.  It is also educational in a sense... you will begin to think a little bit deeper about running and nutrition.  And, I found it very motivating... sort of unleashing a new intrigue regarding running.  So, I just wanted to make a recommendation to you guys - I promise you will enjoy it!  I have no association with McDougall, the story just caught my attention and I am glad it did.

I a finishing up this book. Wow, what a great, great book.

I have never been a trail runner, much less an ultra runner. This book has convinced me to try them both...

it won't happen now, or next week, or maybe even next year...but it will happen.

5 out of 5...

I agree.  A fun read with some really interesting facts and theories thrown in.  Definitely recommended!

BTW, where did you find the Chia seeds?  I've been looking for them!

Couldn't agree more.  Fantastic read.  I listened to most of it while running my first 100 miler in June.  It was a perfect choice for the occasion.

Might just cause you to rethink some pretty basic stuff about running.  Did me.
