What would you do differently?: Train more Transition 1
Comments: Need to practice What would you do differently?: Practice transition before the race.. Bike
Comments: Damn hard course What would you do differently?: Practice my hill repeats and stop avoiding bike training! Transition 2
Comments: Sat my butt down and changed socks, started the run with my bike gloves still on...thank God my friend was nearby to toss them to. What would you do differently?: Practice Run
Comments: This run was really hard as well. At mile 5 there is a killer of a hill. I walked, at that point I didn't care I was beat. What would you do differently?: Not much, I was really glad I did the track practices and trained for hills. Post race
Warm down: Burrito and water What limited your ability to perform faster: I just need to train a little more, the last tri I did was a sprint in 1998, so I was a little rusty...now that I've shocked my body into remembering...I'm going to smoke the rest of this years races...I can't wait! Event comments: I'm going to do this race again next year. My goal is to get under 7 hours, I think I can do that... They call this race the woodstock of triathlons...I suggest everyone come out once and check it out. The camping and vendors was awesome, not to mention being 5 inches from pros like Peter Reid, Dave Scott and Norman Stadler!!!! Last updated: 2004-12-05 12:00 AM
