Event warmup:

The race took place at 4PM and the weather was warm and sunny. I've made a 15mins jog and some light stretching afterwards
Run
  • 22m 36s
  • 5 kms
  • 04m 31s  min/km
Comments:

I was thinking of the heat and also of the difficulties I would find on the cycling segment so I decided not to go faster
What would you do differently?:

I should have positioned myself more to the front of the group at the starting line instead of being last to start
Transition 1
  • 01m 7s
Comments:

I lost a few seconds trying to find out where my bike was
What would you do differently?:

Memorize the place where I put my things on the transition park

Comments:

The cycling segment was difficult as expected, however I felt much stronger than on the last race I've made.
Transition 2
  • 00m 49s
Run
  • 11m 3s
  • 2.5 kms
  • 04m 25s  min/km
Comments:

On this last segment I felt the advantage of the effort economy I did on the first segment and really finished strong
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

I felt much better on the bike, still I have to spend more time riding my bike. I know I can't improve much more on the running but also know that I still have a lot of room for improvement on the bike

Course: This segment was composed by 3 laps on a circuit of 6.3Km. Each lap had 2 difficult points. The first one, climbing aproximately 100m at 16% and the second one climbing 1Km with progressive increase of inclination ending up at 15%. The rest of the circuit was half flat and the other half with several ups and downs which made difficult to maintain speed. On the flat part of the course I could feel a moderate headwind
