Subject: Did Steelhead Have the Swim Today?

Just curious if anyone has heard if the swim went off at Steelhead?  I found a Coastal Flood Warning on Weather.com that reads:

... INCREASED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS TODAY...

HIGH WAVES WITH INCREASING WINDS PARALLEL TO THE SHORELINE WILL BRING AN INCREASED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS LATE THIS MORNING INTO THE EVENING HOURS TODAY. THIS WILL CREATE DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS. RIP CURRENTS ARE MORE LIKELY NEAR BREAK WALLS... SANDBARS... JETTIES AND PIERS.

Hope it didn't get canceled like last year.

Steelhead had a wonderful swim this year. The waves were not bad, the temperate was perfect, and the current was so strong that I almost felt like I was body surfing. The storm and high winds came in later in the day.
