Heard there is going to be another Half Ironman sorta close to home.  Ironman Branson 70.3, starts in 2010.

Wow $175. Didn't realize how expensive it was.  It does look like you can enter both Kansas and Branson 70.3 at one time and save $50 for the two if you can plan to do both.
