new from lincoln

Hey! I was looking around on the internent today for triathlon information and stumbled across this site!!

I am in Lincoln and have always dreamed of training for and competing in a triathlon!! I currently bike,run,swim and strenght train but dont know what a true triathlon training program would look like!

I am a college student joining the UNL cycling team this fall and have been in contact with several of the members who have helped me alot with cycling info and getting started..

Mainly I am just looking to see if there are other beginners in Lincoln also just getting into traithlons? Or if there are triathlon training groups? I currently run about 4-5 miles, swim about 3/4 mile (without really stopping, but I am not very fast) and bike between 40-50 miles ( I am most experienced on the bike) and would love to meet others from the area also beginning training!!
