Subject: Garmin Cadence Sensor
I just got everything together for my Garmin 305 cadence sensor and went for a ride this morning.  I know it tracked my cadence, because i downloaded it to the training center.  I also know i can setup alerts if i fall below or go above a certain cadence.

Is there a way to display the cadence on the watch while your cycling to track it real time to keep an eye on it when glancing down?

Yes, you can change the number of fields and what the data fields are on each screen.

See page 43: http://www.garmin.com/manuals/984_OwnersManual.pdf

Hit mode, settings, general, data fields, biking, choose the number of fields you want shown on the face of the 305 then hit enter.  This will highlight or make the field on the top or top left box, you can use the arrow keys on the right side to make whatever box you want to change the data field in.  Hit enter and when the choices appear, find cadence and hit enter, you can also have cadence avg or for the lap.

That should do it.  I like having the cadence feature too.
