Boulder and Denver Area Peeps

Dear Friends,  

As many of you know I coach The University of CO Triathlon Team. The team has a strong history of placing well at Collegiate National each year, with 10 national titles in the 15 years the title has been contested. CU has never finished lower than 3^rd overall team at Nationals, and we have placed more athletes on the podium than any other school in the history of collegiate triathlon. This year we even had a freshman win the National Championship, which had never been done before! To say the least we have high expectations going forward and we hope with your support we can bring the championship back to Boulder.

Tomorrow morning (Friday) the team is having a fundraiser breakfast at the Original Pancake House in Boulder from 8-10am. The purpose of this event is to fundraise for our first scholarship this year in addition to helping our travel and accommodations expenses for our regional and national races. The event will include a raffle for great prizes as well as Professional Triathlon Guest speakers! (Theme for their talk is: the good, the bad and the ugly: compelling stories of humor, defeat and triumph). Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance.
