IM Finisher's Gear ...

A lot of things do sell out, so go early!  My favorite was a jacket with the IM logo on the front and a patch on the side with the IM distances.

And just to clarify, I am assuming this is the morning after the race and not at the expo, right?  I know merchandise will be available before the actual race, but finisher merchandise is available the morning after, correct?

Yes. The morning after and it goes FAST! My favorite and most used thing so far is my IM coffee mug. It is huge, has the race logo and finisher on it. Use it almost every morning and always brings a smile

At IMAZ they announced that finisher's gear would actually be available between something like 6 and 9 the night of the race.  Luckily, I was able to shop that night rather than the next morning

I like all my IM stuff.

I bought a jacket with fleece lining that I wear all fall/winter that says finisher, zips up, has lots of zippers and is great. Each year the finisher gear is slightly different.

I had to order two items and both were sent very very late and one was a men's tri top instead of women's so it a bit tight in my hips. The other was a bike jacket which is nice but I rarely wear as it is unisex which really means men's so sleeves are really long and don't fit well. Plus it is mostly white which with bikes and grease don't really match well.

I did get two finisher t-shirts that are made out of wicking fabric by Zorrel sp? that hold up really well. My real finisher t-shirt is way to big as they run out of smaller sizes by the time I finished.

I love my bike jersey, t shirts...I would suggest trying stuff on as some shirts I bought are to big and others a little tight..sizing is not consistent.

We bought IM glasses that I love and use daily and also an IM finisher sling I use to bring stuff to the gym and much of the winter I used as my purse.

Plenty of them the day after Lake Placid. Supposedly the extra stuff goes on sale discounted, but I haven't seen any yet.

None actually say "finisher" on them, but I wouldn't get an IMLP item if I didn't finish.

Yes, go early.  I'm having a hard time remembering what I bought versus what was "given" to me.  But I know I bought a very cute light hoodie and a t-shirt.

The jackets did look cool and I really wanted one except that I was about to move to FL and I would never get to wear it.

I have a mug too.  LOVED the mug.  But I think that was a pre-race purchase...doesn't say finisher.  I also bought finisher stickers and Mdots for my cars.  And I have a visor...not sure if that was given to me or not, but it's a cool visor and I wear hats all the time.

Just go and browse...something will strike your fancy.  It will be chaos in there though...
