Why can't I lose em? I'm running a caloric deficit, about 15%. It's just slow going on the last few lbs. Should my deficit be larger than that, or should I just be patient?

Have you been adjusting your numbers as you lose weight?

Be patient, the closer you get to your target the slower the pounds will typically come off.

CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE!  Take a yoga class if you don't already do yoga.  Do some sort of activity on a regular basis that  your body is not used to doing.

15% of what?  If you're a tiny petite person who should only eat 1200 calories then 15% is 180 calories a day.  Divide that by 3500 calories that it takes to lose a pound....When you started losing weight that 15% went toward that magic pound number a lot quicker then it does now.

something else to keep in mind is your body gets more efficient at burning calories the more you do the same sports.  so if you are swimming, biking and running all the time, eventually you will burn less calories for the same level of effort.  this is why switching it up sometimes (i.e. the above post, yoga etc..) will sometimes kick start that last few pounds.  ive had the last few pounds to lose for a couple months now, but its completely diet related.

Good point. Wish I was petite. 178 lbs. burning around 2700 daily(I think), trying to keep my consumption under 2300. Which is easy most days, but I tend to blow up about 2 days a week, and eat like crap. I know its the diet. It's really time consuming and labor intensive to eat healthy! I'm is sales so i'm on the road alot. that is when I really struggle with the diet.

You say you blow up like 2 days a week. Maybe there goes your deficit from the other days and that would explain why you are not loosing.

It might also be good to know exactly how much you burn (get your BRM tested and then add exercise) and to measure and calculate everything and write everything down so you are sure you actually have a deficit.
