YES! My wife's tennis coach Jeff is the organizer. I think I started a thread about it here in the NC forum. This is the first year, but it will make a nice training ride.

Cannot get the link to open, when and how long, and what is the average speed?  Interested in adding some variety to my training.  Thanks.

"Pedal for a Purpose" benefiting Mehtodist Home for Children of North Carolina on Spetember 5, 2009.

It starts at the IOS store at 2002 Grisdale Lane.

There are two routes:

1) Half metric century route (31 miles)
2) Metric century (62 miles)

Registration starts at 7 AM and the ride begins at 8:10 AM. They will provide beverage and food along the route. Cost is $30.00/rider. I think you can register at www.insideoutsports.com.

Sorry about the bad link, it worked when I tested it.

DougRob's info is correct.

If you want a T-shirt it is best to pre reg @ www.insideoutsports.com

I spoke to Jeff the organizer and he said the route will head out to the Green Level/Farrington Rd/Lystra Rd(without the col) area.

There are only 13 ppl signed up so far.
I am looking to do a 17+ pace.
