It basically looks like a super-healthy diet.  Lean meats, lots of veggies & fruits, no refined carbs, etc.

Does it also help with inflammation in joints?

Yes.

I have quite a few clients who have auto-immune disorders (arthritis, MS, etc) and putting them on an anti-inflammatory diet generally does wonders for them.

Not sure if it's exactly the same diet you are talking about, buy both my brother and I have rheumatoid arthritis.

He was crippled up for a year and half and could hardly get up the stairs to bed.  He started taking methotrexate shots and got somewhat better.  After doing a no refined carb diet, he hasn't had to have methotrexate for over 6 months and is in better health then ever.

As for me, I flared up for the first time last spring, not long after I "got off the couch."  Since my brother had such great success with his diet, I immediately started doing the same thing.  Within a week my symptoms were much better.  I'm doing great now, but if I start to cheat too much I "carb out" and will have a flare up.  I'm still trying to figure out how to balance my diet with tri training.

Anyway, not sure if that is what you're after, but that's been my experience.

Went from 206.2 to 201.2 in two days.  Joints already feel a little better.  Chocolate cake at the store looks good.  Just trying to fill up with yummy, fresh fruit.

It gets easier.  After about two weeks, chocolate cake didn't even look that great anymore.  The less sugar you eat, the less you crave it.

Anybody have any links to this diet? I'd like to look into it... I have an auto-immune disorder that this diet might help with. I found that eliminating all wheat from my diet helped, but maybe there are other things I should look into cutting out, as well.

I didn't get "the anti-inflammatory diet" book or anything personally (probably should though).  I just eliminated ALL carbs except for the carbs in whole fruit and vegetables for 30 days.   The first few days I though I would starve, until I figured out what I could eat.Undecided

I've since added in oatmeal, and wholegrains and I've been able to handle them just fine, and have more energy since I did.   I also cheat and eat a sugary item about once every week or two.  Any more than that and I can feel my joints start to inflame.  I needed that original 30 days of being really good though to be able to handle it.

Oh, and I also take a fish oil supplement, the omega 3's help with inflammation.

Sorry, not very helpful, it's just been my own experience.
