Local heros inc 59yo who regularly places in top 25/600+ in local tris, and 72yo !!! who regularly posts top 10's in state/regional MTB XC races. Love to see these guys rewrite the textbook on ageing. |

It seems like all of the best Triathletes out there are in their 30s and 40s (around here, anyway). |

I had an interview with Craig Alexander a couple months back and he was telling me that sometimes its better to get started in Tri older. As an extreme endurance sport its important to have an excellent cardiovascular system and that it only gets better with age. I guess we can all see that with him huh!? Well, I'm hoping that by starting later I can really hit it hard when I'm in my late 20s. Really interesting spread of ages here Tri HARDER! |
