Subject: HOW TO SCHEDULE RACES
how close together can you schedule your races?  Is two weeks too close?  I've found two that are close to my area and those are probably the only ones I'll be able to make...

Depends on a lot of things: race distances, your goals, your ability to recover, finances, etc.

I've done sprints on Saturday and Sunday in the same weekend, and just finished doing a race every weekend (five of them) last month.

I agree with bear.  Also depends on your fitness and the length of the two races.  I have a few friends to do a recent race that was a Friday -Sunday.  It was a Sprint on Friday, Olympic on Saturday and a 1/2 IM on Sunday.  Needless to say he had no goals on Sunday and it was just surivival mode.

 

 

What kinda races are you looking at?
