Pro  4100   Wherever the trail takes me, WA. |  Subject: IRONMAN AZI can't believe I am even pondering the thoughts! Any thoughts from the outside world? My background. Collegiate Soccer 5 years of Triathlons (olympic farthest, However signed up for 2 half's this year) A wife who already complete's Ironman's. A job w/ long hours.. and A GOOD FRIEND NAME JACK (daniel's that is) on occasion I enjoy doing tri's, but feel as though if i commit, there goes the joy (for a while..) TIME TO WORK?! ANY THOUGHTS? |

I've committed (funny how that word goes with an IM!) to doing IM Coeur D'Alene next year and have had some self doubt about it. But I just shove those thoughts out of my head and think how cool the tattoo will look! Just curious why you're thinking IMAZ and not IMCDA which is much closer to you? I thought it would be a nice change of scenery. However I am a little hesitant about the race being in April, and the weather in Washington from November-April.. I may still change my mind and sign up for Canada (I like that time of year.) I am planning on going up there again this year to watch my brother-in-law. WE WILL SEE? |

For AZ, would you be able to train during the winter in Washington? I live in San Diego and it was a little difficult to train during the winter even though we have sun 360 days a year. AZ was a great race and a lot easier than Canada. My .02 |
