Subject: another wetsuit question...
I am sure it has been covered somewhere, but the search feature has no help.

I recently order the xterra wetsuit based on the sizing chart. I am in between size of small and medium ( 5"8 155lbs). Everywhere I read wetsuit supposed to be super tight, so I go for small. It finally arrived today so I tried it on, it takes me almost 1/2 hrs just to put it on! it takes me 10 min to pull one leg up inch by inch. I feel my legs are compressed, my chest is compressed, and I have a bit of problem standing straight. I already make sure I pull the suit all the way up but it doesn't help.

How can one supposed to breath in those thing? Is it how it supposed to be? I didn't try to swim in that thing. Will it loose up after the first swim? Or should I go for 1 size up?

It sounds too tight for sure.  It should be snug, but not so tight it seriously contstrics movement and breathing.

If I were you, I'd call Xterra and talk with them about it. Their customer service people were great when I talked with them, and they're dealing with fit issues & questions all the time.

Thanks for all the response.  I am printing out the form to exchange for a bigger size.
