Hmm Cav lost today cause his lead out train fell apart. Could this be signs of weakness. I was yelling at the screen when farrar pulled to the front I was happy for him and more for his team. It must have been a very difficult grand tour season for him and his lead out train.

Finally? He got a win earlier this year too and beat Cav!

Farrar won’t factor in the Green Jersey calculations, but he does boast something that no other sprinter in this field does. In 2009, he did beat Mark Cavendish. Back in Tirreno-Adriatico in March, the 13th was the day that Tyler Farrar sent a message out. Mark Cavendish was cruising to the finish line and then Farrar overpowered him. It’s a rare occurrence that Mark is beaten and Farrar did it.

PS - I'm pretty excited about this new permanent forum!
