What genius at the Coast Guard said `I know what. Let's do a training exercise in the Potomac on Sept. 11.'

I'd blame the dude who said ... `I know what, let's fly Air Force One low over Manhattan with a two-fighter escort.' but he's flipping burgers these days.

Seriously, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that today isn't the best day to do a training exercise right as the president's motorcade is passing on the anniversary of one of the most infamous dates in U.S. history.

please.....  you have been around long enough to know that when ever any agency says it was a training exercise, that something really did happen and it's a cover up.

but training doesnt really stop just becuase something happened 8 years ago.  In fact, wouldnt it be better to be at a higher alert?  Im in the Coast Guard and today was a regular workday for us.  Perhaps CNN should appologize for not getting their facts straight before going crazy with the story.  Geez.

but training doesnt really stop just becuase something happened 8 years ago.  In fact, wouldnt it be better to be at a higher alert?  Im in the Coast Guard and today was a regular workday for us.  Perhaps CNN should appologize for not getting their facts straight before going crazy with the story.  Geez.



CNN is busy with the U.S. Coast Guard and Congressman Wilson's fundraising so they don't have to report on Acorn.

I hit refresh a few times but I'm still not seeing any info on Acorn.  Just a big pic of Mr. Wilson.   I do see this though (updated 3:15 p.m. EDT, Fri September 11, 2009) so maybe I'm not getting the latest.  I'll dump the cache and refresh again.

hahah I found it!  The link to the two fired workers is under the U.S. tab, not on the main page.  LOL  The title is simply that ACORN fires 2 workers in prostitution sting
