Subject: I'm In Love
I've been thinking of my next bike purchase and I am sure that it will be a tri-specific bike. I had narrowed it down to Cervélo P2K, the Guru Crono, and the Argon18 Mercury. Then, I finally dropped into a shop that sells Cervélo and I fell in love! I've seen the Crono and the Mercury and they are both nice, but the P2K is just beautiful. There are only two things that I am not crazy about on this bike and that is the fact that the brakes are in-house (not Ultegra) and the frame is available in only one colour, blue...I want a yellow one! But, nontheless, I want a Cervélo P2K...or as I call it, the Pee Tuque Eh...and I want it now. My wife thinks I have gone over the deep end, but she is not a cyclist so what does she know!?! Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy it until next year, and then only if I retire! What's a guy to do? I am almost tempted to get a second job but that seems way too drastic! Eeech....I am not all that crazy about working to begin with let alone work two jobs! Woe is me!

Can't help you with the bike choice - I CAN empathize with the work/retire struggle. Just started drawing my SS - but am still working (more than full time) - mainly because I have to support my habit. Isn't love crazy!

Hole the money away when you can. Seems like a 2nd job might dig into your play time.....that would be sad.
