Subject: Gait Analysis - Is it worth it?
Hi All - Just finished my first season of triathlons and obviously need to work on my running.   As a starting point would it be worth while going through a gait analysis?  I figure, if nothing else it should help my running efficiency.  Thoughts, opinions on gait analysis?  Thanks

it made all the difference for me.  My feet and ankles hurt when i ran, so I always thought I needed more cushioning, stability control etc.  The gait analysis showed I needed a neutral shoe, which I now wear and experience very little pain.  I would never have gotten there on my own.

It didn't cost anything, though I did buy the shoes from them.

You might want to look through this thread that I started last week, asking the same question.

Thanks for the info.  Sounds like if u do get a gait analysis a running store is not the place to get it done.
