Subject: What to work on in off season? So I just finished my fourth sprint tri. I did 1:18, which I was very pleased with. I finished 34th out of 82, which is the first time I've finished in the top half of the field. My times and rankings were: Swim 12:37 5th Bike 38:14 33th Run 27:42 61st It's not too difficult to figure out where I need to put in the most work!! My question is whether I should drop a swim workout in order to do an extra run, during the off season? Realistically, I can only manage 6 workouts a week, and I've been doing 2 swim, 2 bike, and 2 run. By reducing my swimming to once per week, I don't think I would lose too much, and I'm sure I could gain a lot more by introducing a third run. What do you think? |
