Where abouts do you go for speed work for the run and the bike?Choose one/two options for the run and the bike. Add another if I haven't added what you do.

Run - "speedwork" is intervals.  I do them on a measured track about 4 or 5 times a year ..... that's it.  Tempo runs I do on the road.

Bike - I don't do anything specific for speedwork.  Every ride I mix up with faster portions and hills (I have no choice in that matter) so I get a good variety all the time.

For running - I either go to the track or do intervals on the road by time.
For biking - I either do intervals on a short loop (i.e. 4-10 miles) or on the trainer.

I don't normally do intervals.  So, my "speedwork" is usually done on the same routes I would run any other day.  I have had specific routes I take for those purposes, but that's usually about as fancy as I get.

x2

For the bike I'll just get out on the road and pick a fairly flat route.

Run? What's that.

Bike, on a short course like a criterium course or on the velodrome.
