Subject: before and after tri'ing - who knew?
A friend of mine sent me these two pictures (the first one is from last summer, the second one is from the finish at my first tri last weekend). I haven't lost that much (about 15 lbs) - but it sure has moved around a lot! More importantly, I have a true appreciation and love for the training - to have a goal and focus has made all the difference to me. Can't wait for next season!

I don't think you can go by the weight loss alone... the difference looks like more than fifteen pounds, so you probably gained some muscle mass and lost more than fifteen pounds of fat. Looking great! You're being a terrific role model for your daughter, too!

Just curious... has your progress motivated your husband any to drop a couple pounds?

Great question! Nothing explicit - but he has started riding his bike to and from work...every little bit helps.
