Hello from Florida!

I am a 37 year old mother of a 6 year old and a 3 year old -- 5'10", 235 pounds, and been overweight all of my life and never, ever athletic.  In the last year, four of my closest friends from college have completed tris.   Three of them are (or were) just as overweight as I am.  I figured if they could do it, so can I!  I took some swim classes at the YMCA in August, and started exercising in fits and starts over the summer.  Four weeks ago, I started Couch-to-5K in earnest and plan to do my first 5K race in November.  And last week, I bought a bike.     So I think I am on my way!
