cramp vastus lateralis tried to stretch and then cramp in hamstring could not move. This was at 3.5 mile mark. Would have easily beaten 3 hour mark if I did not have to walk periodically. Thankfully able to finish.

Way to finish despite leg cramps.  It was definitely a hot day which makes the course even tougher.  I saw you on the BT list for the HIM.  You still planning on it?

p.s. Just about everybody I know said they had a hard time sighting on that course!!!!

Way to go!  You are looking pretty good even though you stated "This was a little long for my training up to this point".

Funny...I dropped a water bottle also.  I was on the dam heading to T2 when I hit a bump.  A bottle flew out of my Xwing.  I started to stop and pick it up (it had senitmental value), but didn't.  I thought I would find it on the drive out.  It was no where to be found.

Good race splinter!  It's brutal when you get cramps!  I'm going to stay in front of you and Zia if y'all are hurlin' bottles on the course though!
