When a receipe calls for Peanut Butter, does that assume the cheap full of bad-for-you-stuff, or is it okay to subsitute my beloved all natural peanut butter?  I know the consistency is different, wondering if it would affect the finished product.

I think it depends on the recipe. I use both kinds of PB, depending on my mood, and some recipes really need the junky stuff (PB chocolate-covered rice krispy treats, for instance -- YUCKO with natural!) while some work really well with natural peanut butter (a lot of cookies, for instance).

I think you've just got to experiment. And I, like Possum, will generously volunteer to taste test any recipes you're not sure of.
