Subject: picked my event
I just paid for my entry, it's the lum's pond sprint tri in Delaware on August 15th. 0.5 mi swim, 19.5 mi bike, 3.1 mi run. Can't wait!

Woo hoo!!!  You are one step ahead of me, although I am leaning heavily towards the Danksin ladies mini triathlon in the Boston area in August.  I think August gives you plenty of time to get ready!  At least that is what I was thinking.

Well done. Paid for it yet?

I am in my first event in August in New Hampshire – paid for it last month!! Do you think The ice will have melted by then?

I hope so Mike...I'll be at the Timberman too on Sunday for the 1/2 IM. So if you're in Saturday's event, could ya warm up the water for me just a little bit!

There will probably still be ice in tuckerman's. But yeah, I paid the entry and everything and am on the list. The only thing that worries me is that the event is a qualifier for a championship event, so the crowd might be tougher than usual. But I expect to be much better by August so hopefully it'll be fun.
