Pre-race routine:

Got up around 5:30 and still pondered whether or not to do the race!

Comments:

I could feel my legs were tired by the 1/2 mile mark, but they just died by 2 1/2 miles. Wasn't worried about time so much...knew the legs weren't up to snuff from workouts yesterday and the day before. I was happy with that time with no rest before.

What would you do differently?:

Give the legs a little rest.

Warm down:

Walked around a little, drank Propel. Didn't have much time to stay...swim practice started at 8:00 and I left the race site at 7:55...ended up about 15 minutes late for swim practice.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Tired legs.
