Subject: Computrainer group buy
I am thinking about trying to put together a Computrainer group buy.  Please let me know if you are interested in participating.  The retail price on a CompuTrainer is $1649.  I have not been able to find these discounted.  I hope with a group buy I might be able to get them $200 or $300 off of retail.

Please let me know if you are interested.  This will only be an attempt to put together a group buy purchase.  I don't know if I will be successful with Racermate.

You might want to check out Slow Twitch.  There was just a post about this over there.  Seems that Computrainer is looking to open or start selling more in retail locations.  This means that they are not very interested in giving discounts as it would undercut their retailers.  Sounds like pretty good discounts are available for teams/clubs, but no one can figure out how to get the discount.

Coach Mike Ricci here on BT has put together group orders for CT in the past.  Might be worth asking him if he'd be willing to work with you.

Might have a better chance if I had five or more people willing to get in.  Then I might have a better chance to interest them in a group buy.
