I am looking around the KC area to find what cycling stores are Traithlete friendly and if there are any tri specific stores.  I went to Bikesourse at 135 & Quivera a few days back and they seemed to have a solid tri section.  Any other places that are similar or better?  Thanks.

Elite Cycling on 107th and Mission.  Very tri friendly and a great store to boot.

I finally made it down there this week and was VERY impressed.  The owner is an extremely nice guy and very helpful.  He even fitted my new Look Keo Classic clipless peddles for free on his Keo machine even though I bought the peddles at a different store.

I would highly reccomend Elite Cycling to all.  Thanks IMHusker.

Let me tell you a few things about Jeff/ elite cycling.
Jeff is a great person, awesome salesman, excellent tech/ fit tech, knows his stuff inside/out, very neat, clean, super organized.
Gives everyone individualized attention, listens well........Supports local tri races adult or kids.....Can't say enough. I think his shop is a reflection of him. Finally this town got a shop it deserves to have.

Made it to Elite today.

Very well stocked and definitely tri-oriented.

I got some pointers for getting the most out of my mountain bike, and got visually sized up for general bike sizes. I also got to try out a couple of different trainers.

I hadn't had a good close look at any aero bars so I didn't know I had mine on backwards, or that I could change bolt tension to get my saddle angle pointing down instead of up. (Can ya tell I'm new to this?)

Also thought the selection of gels and bars etc was great. I had never come across GUs before, much less had so many flavors to pick from. I bought some GUs and Chomps and Shot Bloks.

I felt a little intimidated by all the expensive bikes and the selection of items I wont need for a while, but the selection was quite impressive, with items in stock that I have never seen in person, but read about all the time.

Very helpful and friendly. No pressure to buy anything, and free advice given with a smile.

Highly recommended.

Just upgraded my tri bike with a purchase at Elite.  Was really impressed with Jeff and his shop.  Now, if Felt could only get it here before the 28th of February ..... Ahhhhh
