New member from PA

Hi all,

I've been lurking for about a month now. I was originally just looking for a new training log when I came across this great site. I'm a 39 year old father of two from Stowe, PA, which is about 30 minutes NW of Philadelphia. I used to do several local tris each summer in the early 90s, but most of them dried up and I lost interest. When I heard about the inaugural Philadelphia Triathlon this year I signed up for it the same day. I've been doing the three big Philly runs (Broad Street Run, Philadelphia Distance Run & Philadelphia Marathon) for the past couple years & I've always hoped the city would put on a good triathlon. We’ll have to wait and see how it turns out, but it sure feels good to be a triathlete again.
