I'll be doing Breezy Point Tri in Norfolk, VA. 1000m/20K/5K. My goal is to make it through the swim without drowning and then finish the race and have fun. My goal is to finish under 2 hours. It will be my first tri of the season, 1st OW tri and only 2nd tri overall.

Good luck to all racers this weekend. Kathy, hope you have a great race!

The Pigman Sprint Tri in Palo IA. Though it is slightly different in distance than my last, I hope to improve my avg bike and run splits.

Along with Kelpeng. I'm doing the Buffalo Sprint Triathlon. My goals are:
a) not to drown
b) not to fall off my bike
c) not to walk.
d) if I can do all those then I'd like to finish in under 1:30
Good luck to everybody.

I'm doing the Issquah Sprint tri...same one that Jeff's doing and that Zagagirl is volunteering at...

first tri, so for the most part I just plan on getting a feel for everything.

Although...I'm looking to do quite well in the swimming (400m swim, pretty short) since I have a background in swimming...

The bike and run are a whole 'nother matter...I definitely plan on not dying, and just staying strong, but I probably have a tendency to get over excited and going too fast at the beginning....so just a matter of pacing myself. But the course should be fairly forgiving -- only one hill on the bike course (4/9 mile mark, it's an out-and-back course) so yea....

I'll let y'all know how it goes :-P

I have a 15k (9.3 mile) road race around a mountain lake. I then plan on taking a dip and swim an hour.

I'm not scheduled for my first sprint Tri until June 19th followed the next weekend by a half in New York. Next year I plan on doing the mooseman half. I'd like to know how well it's put together.

Abitaman 2 in Mandeville, Louisiana. 600 swim, 18.6 bike, 3.1 run. The big challenge will be the run off the bike. I was miserable last week at Olympic distance (12 minute miles). I am shooting for 9:30 pace on the run in this one. Total time goal of 1 hour 41 minutes would make me very happy.

There is a chance the race could be changed to a duathlon because of water quality (too much rain), I hope that doesn't happen.

Although I haven't trained for over 3 weeks!, I'll be racing the Issaquah Tri tomorrow morning. I'm just hoping I finish.

Best of luck to the other racers out there!
