Subject: WTB Shimano 105 Shifters Triple/9 set up
Looking to buy a set of Shimano Shifters for a triple on the front crank and a 9 speed cassette in back. The bike I am looking at buying comes with Sora shifters and have heard that they break easily

i have Sora and they have done an exceptional job.  never derailed yet, and havent even had to adjust anything yet either.  and at 1800 miles, im very pleased with the quality.
the name Sora doesnt mean that it's junk off the walmart shelf.  i wouldnt be afraid of it.  (just letting you know, so maybe you can save a few bucks)

agree. I've ridden a bike w/ sora since 03 without a single problem. I can go 2 seasons w/out tuneups, adjustments, or anything. save your cash for a pair of racing wheels.
