Just got myself a TACX Bushido as an early Crimbo pressie, and I've got to say that I'm impressed. The user manual is rubbish but the forum has all the answers you're looking for.

I'm impressed with it's power balance and automatic cadence without sensors features, I haven't got it hooked up with the PC yet but will be adding this on soon. I do however run it with my FR405 on the bars too. The Bushido picks up the Garmin HRM strap and the output figures on both units are very close speed / cadence (just needs a little configuring to get spot on).

I've only used it a few times just playing around with ergotrainer functions but it's a nice smooth trainer with no choppy-ness on inclines.

Just wish I had a way of verifying the Power output from it...

Good luck with it. I've read some not so good stories about the Tacx Bushido with several people complaining about the software being unstable (crashing) and the brake dying after a few months combined with very poor service from Tacx.
