Subject: Best pullup device for home gym?

My husband wants something like this

http://www.amazon.com/Iron-Total-Upper-Body-Workout/product-reviews/B001ND04U4/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_helpful?ie=UTF8&coliid=&showViewpoints=1&colid=&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

As far as home gym, we have my mtn bike on a trainer and his weight bench, so we are not talking high teck.

Any suggestions?  any other items to consider?

Never used one, but I've heard only good things about it. IIRC it can support a lot of weight too. Just want to be sure it will fit your door frame.

I have a Power Tower. You can probably find one at a garage sale really cheap or at a store for $100 or so. I've had it for years and have to say I've gotten my money's worth. You can also do dips, push ups, and captain's chair on it.

Glad to hear some positive replies as I would always be worried about the falling out of the door frame and then having really bad things happen to my body.
I like the dip, leg raise, pull up combo rack. You can find them at most sporting goods stores for $100 or less.

I got something similar last year after christmas at Walgreen's for only $10. It works great, although there is only one doorway in my house in which it fits (happens to be my bedroom door).

I've seen free-standing pull up bars that are light enough to move easily and have adjustble height, which I'd love to get for my basement.
