I work in a large office and a bunch of us are talking about starting a multisport club.  Ideally we'd like to get about 50 bicycling jersey and tri tanks made up.  Is there a company that will do custom stuff on such a small scale?  I know Sugoi does something like this but I have to see if they'll do a small order.

I can do them.  You'd have to pick out a blank jersey though and we'll screen print them however you want, with whatever design.  Where are you located?

Really the best thing to do and actually what we see most teams doing is finding a jersey and/or tri top that you really like and call the company that makes it.  They will most likely give you a really good deal on a bulk order.

I know Louis Garneau does custom stuff, and I think the minimum batches aren't crazy - like 20 or something.

There's also ChampSys, and I think their minimums are closer to 10 of any one item. I have a cycling kit made by them that's pretty nice - I like the jersey, esp.

Yup our tri club got custom LG tri tops and shorts this year. We had to do the initial design (they provide a template for each piece), and then they "professionalized" it for us.

Here is their price list and minimum quantities (looks like most minimum orders are 12) for all custom products:

My company recently had a jersey made for me using http://www.velowear.com/.  The quality of the jersey is pretty good to me.

Our tri club used Desoto...they actually have a company called Hidden Bay Graphics that does all their work . They were amazing to work with!  And they did design...etc...we just gave them our logo and they designed a uniform for us.

we have used champion systems as well and happy with all the gear.  plus fully sublimated so you can doctor up the whole shirt if you want, not just sections

Krisco

Do you have a local cycling club? They often have custom team kit, and if they are happy with the service they received from a custom gear provider they will give you a good recommendation. Going somewhere that you have been referred to will likely have benefits for both you and the club that referred you.

I've worked with Louie Garneau for my college cycling club and an a group from work that was doing a charity ride. Both times the experience was wonderful. Their semi custom designs were very affordable and they will do full custom as well.

We also use LG for the tri club I'm a member of now, but I have not been involved in the clothing design/purchasing process at all. The quality is as good as before.

Avoid screen printing. It doesn't breathe and doesn't hold up well to the rigors of active wear. Sublimation is what you want and that can be hard to find from a local provider. However, if you can find it, it is nice to have a local supplier.

I think LG's minimum is 12? Here is the link to their custom clothing section
