And it looks like you'll be first on butt kicking duty - you've already got over 57 miles in for the month!  To my measly 22!  Tonight, WE RIDE!!

Tania, where's your log???  I can't begin appropriate butt kicking without your log!

Sorry, Sorry!  I forgot to go in and make my logs public - I'm good to go now.  Hey, don't kick my butt today, I rode 15 miles last night.  That put 5 miles in the "bank" - since I only have to do 9.5 per day to meet my 250 goal, and I have several longs rides planned, including 50 miles on Saturday.  There is rain scheduled here for the rest of the week until Saturday, but I will ride as long as it's not lightning.

Ladies - I just went through and added each of you to my "friends' blogs" and including me, there are 18 of us. I think that is awesome! There may be others who made pledges who haven't posted to this thread yet. If so, I will add you when I find you. I will be adding at least another 25 miles to my total today. Gee, 350 seems a long way off but I will get there one way or another!

Let's G Goddesses!

Good news, Goddesses!  I just totally locked in exceeding my 250 goal for the challenge, by deciding to do SWINE TREK 2005 on June 25th (don't you love the crazy names they give stuff in Iowa - I just did the Pigman Sprint Tri .   You can pick your distance on this one - 10,25,50 or 100.  Guess which one I'm going for?!?

I totally forgot this ride was in June, I was just cruising the Bike Iowa website looking for some fun group rides I could glom onto to keep me motivated!  I was going to do this one last year, but some friends I rarely get to see wanted to come visit that weekend for camping and canoeing, so the ride got nixed.  And this is right in my backyard, routes I have ridden on my own many times.

I'm psyched!  I am going to look high and low for an ORANGE jersey I can wear in honor of you all!

GO GODDESSES!

Hello,

I signed up at the "official" post but I figure I'd post it here also.  I'm new to (road) biking, new to triathlon and new to this site.  Just to let you know that I'm female coz you might not be able to tell from my screen name.  Trying to do 110 mile.  Have 20.5 miles to date.  Thanks for organizing.

I'm going to put together a spreadsheet for each team, hopefully today, hopefully each will contain a link to each participant's log.

May I recommend the Pearl Izumi Ultra sensor shorts? My netherlands felt as if they'd been attacked by a hammer after my first 50+ mile ride... I've since purchased some awesome shorts and adjusted my seat downward a bit, and it made all the difference in the world. No other shorts compare. (!!!)

Good Luck to you and your "tender parts!"

You know...I encouraged her to jump in and join too.  Not sure why she's not interested.  I think all the Gear Goddesses should descend on her blog and peer pressure her into it.

Anyone else in the Denver metro area interested?
