Pre-race routine:

Pre-staged race and post race gear the nite before.
2 Advil 1 hour pre-race.

Event warmup:

jogged the 1/2 mi to the registration tent.

Run

Comments:

Good tempo. Tried to keep relatively comfortable, esp first 2 mi.

What would you do differently?:

nuthin - well, maybe stretch a little after the race instead of going straight for the beer tent (but there was no line !!)

Post race

Warm down:

beer, hot dog, beer, hot dog, beer, beer.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Conditioning - need to build up more of a base - season's just started, i was happy to be walking with only a little hip and knee pain (very little)

Event comments:

Best Post-Race Party as always CJM delivers the goods - beer, food, entertainment - fun, fun, fun !!
