I feel I have waited too long to book a place to stay for IMLP 2010. Where are you guys staying and does anyone have a suggestion?

Get on the Holiday Inn website and see if their property is still available. It's not a HI, but one of their upper level hotels, I can't recall its name. It sits on the hill overlooking town and is within walking distance of the IM village.

There are a bunch of other hotels, some boutique and some cheap. Did you try hotels.com?

I am staying at Alpine Motor Lodge about 10 minutes from the start. Only place that I could find that didnt have a 5 night minimum with 300/night rooms. I heard a lot of hotels end up opening rooms in April - but who wants to wait that long, right?

Art Devlins Olympic Motor Inn is great.  No frills.  Clean rooms.  Awesome location, 2 blocks from transition and the run course goes right past it.  5 night minimum, ~$200/night.  I got in in March or April last year b/c of a cancellation.  The waiting list may be long, but most people have already booked things by the time they get to them on the waiting list.
