Subject: Vortex 3 vs Vector Pro X2
My knowledge is limited on wetsuits. Last year I rented a Blue Seventy Synergy wetsuit for my first tri and loved the suit. I do not really know what make a superior suit, but I really did like the Synergy. I am looking to buy my own wetsuit this year and was thinking about taking BT offer of 50% of on XTERRA wetsuits. With that said, I was looking at the Vortex 3 that would be retailed for me at 150 or the Vector Pro X2 that would be retailed at 300. I also have a $150 gift card that I can use on this as well, which would me that I would only pay taxes and shipping on the Vortex 3. Would it really be worth then investment of an extra 150 for the Vector? What make the Vetor superior? And how do people like the Vortex?

I've got the Vortex 3 and love it.  No complaints at all.  Only wetsuit I have ever had so I can't really compare.  But the 3 is more than enough for most swimmers IMO.  I say save the $150 and spend it on something else, like a bike component upgrade or new running shoes.

hmmm good to hear. I have never really found the need to speed money on a wetsuit like I do on a bike, but I would like a wetsuit that is a good moderation and the Vortex sounds like the choice.

looking at the BT offer on these it appears to be only available to USA customers - since I'm in the UK that's annoying. Am i right?
